Registration deadline was 15th March. We still accept registrations, but registrations and hotel bookings should be made promptly.

  REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS

Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to the Conference Secretariat Destrée Organisation by e-mail or by fax.

All refunds will be processed after the Summer Session.

 

• For cancellations between 26th February and 10th March 2019,

the cancellation fee = 25% of total amount paid or due.

 

• For cancellations between 11th March and 31st March 2019,

the cancellation fee = 50% of total amount paid or due.

 

• For cancellations after 31st March 2019 and for No-Shows,

The cancellation fee = 100% of total amount paid or due.

 

For name substitutions, a processing fee of 50,00 EUR will be charged.

 

  VAT REFUND

EU Participants

Since 1st January 2010 the procedure for reimbursement of VAT incurred by EU taxable persons in Member States where they are not established has been replaced by a new fully electronic procedure, thereby ensuring a quicker refund to claimants. Taxable persons should therefore log in to their own fiscal administration website in order to reclaim VAT paid on registration fees.

 

Non-EU Participants

Taxpayers established in third countries who are not carrying out commercial activities in Malta, are eligible to claim VAT refund in Malta.

 

The refund application shall be submitted to the Maltese VAT Authorities not later than by 30th June of the calendar year following the refund period.

 

VAT on invoices for registration fees to the conference issued in 2019 can be claimed for a refund until 30th June 2020 at the latest.
